When you come to Kawaguchiko, it’s harder to find restaurant than Tokyo or other big city.
In this blog, I’d like to introduce some restaurants for you.

Fusoan – Japanese sweets shop

 

Fusoan is a “Kanmi-dokoro” which is Japanese sweets shop.

It is located near Yagisaki Park, and you can enjoy
Japanese sweets such as Oshiruko and Anmitsu there.

 

 

Japanese lunch at Fusoan

 

Not only you can enjoy Japanese sweets,
but also you can have Japanese lunch at Fusoan.

Their healthy lunch is limited to the first 10 customers per day.
They use seasonal ingredients and their lunch is popular
especially among the elderly and women.

 

 

I had Soba noodles when I went there.
Actually I don’t really like Soba, but their Soba was very nice!
All of their dish were well-prepared.

The price of their lunch is 1100 yen,
but if you add a dessert, it’s 1500 yen.

 

 

This is Matcha (green tea) ice cream with Kuromitsu (brown sugar syrup).

 

Also, the reason why I recommend Fusoan is you can enjoy their food
in a quiet atmosphere seeing Kawaguchiko from the window.

 

 

It’s comfortable to take a walk by the side of Kawaguchiko after having lunch.

Take a retro bus from Kawaguchiko station and get off at Kawaguchiko Muse Museum.
Just few minutes walk from the bus stop.

If it’s by bicycle, It takes approx 20 minutes from Kawaguchiko station.
