In Japan, winter illuminations are very popular.
Usually they are displayed around Christmas and New Year,
but some of them run longer, like until April.
We don’t have very big events around Mt.Fuji,
but today I’ll introduce some of them!

Lisa and Gaspard Town in Fuji-Q Highland
Lisa and Gaspard Town (La Ville de Gaspard et Lisa)
is located in Fuji-Q Highland in Yamanashi.
Lisa and Gaspard Town is the first theme park in the world to feature
Lisa and Gaspard, which are popular characters from a French children’s book.
It is adjacent to Fuji-Q Highland and the admission fee is free.

There are cute cafe, restaurant, Patisserie etc,
and they have a Christmas illumination event at night!
You can enjoy seeing Christmas tree which is 8m height,
and the small Eiffel Tower with Lisa and Gaspard.

Hana no Miyako Park
Hana no Miyako Park is located in Yamanakako in Yamanashi.
It’s a flower park and you can enjoy various kind of flowers from spring to autumn,
and they have a illumination event “Yamanakako art illumination fantaseum “in winter.
It’s not a big one, but you can enjoy winter illumination
and Mt. Fuji seen in a dusk together.

Toki no Sumika
Toki no Sumika is located in Gotemba in Shizuoka.
This is the biggest event between these 3.
This year’s theme is “The feeling is elegance”.
We expressed unique elegance each central area which is “The tunnel of the light”,
“The hill of the royal palace”, and “The rainbow of Hikarira”.

You can enjoy Christmas rainbow tree which is 120 years old,
illuminated fountain show, and so on!
Also there are various food stalls,
so you can enjoy event while having food!
