Mishima sky walk is located in Mishima, Shizuoka.
It is 400 meters long and is the longest suspension bridge in Japan as pedestrian only.
You can see the excellent view from the top of the bridge,
such as Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, and Izu mountains.

Japan’s longest bridge “Mishima sky walk”
When you arrive Mishima sky walk, there is
a photo shooting spot like this. (It’s a night time photo though)
The height of the bridge is 70.6m and it is quite high!
If you are afraid of heights, it may be a bit scary
because it shakes when you cross the bridge!
The bridge is 400 meters long and it is the longest
in Japan, so it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to cross.
Also, the width of the bridge is 1.6 m
to make it possible for wheelchairs to pass each other.
It’s easy to pass with people coming from the other side.
Various beautiful sceneries can be seen depending on the weather and time of visit.
How to enjoy Mishima sky walk?
Besides the scenery seen from the top of the bridge,
Mishima sky walk has various ways to enjoy.
Beyond the bridge, there is a walking path called “The forest of Kicoro”
and an observatory, so you can enjoy nature.
There are also cafes and restaurants
where you can enjoy gourmet using local ingredients.
Among them, “Sky Garden” is a shop with flower chandeliers filling the ceiling.
Sky garden has beautiful flowers blooming any season all year round.
In addition, sometimes Mishima sky walk have events like “Night sky walk”
and you can enjoy different ways from usual.
The night view seen from Japan’s longest Mishima sky walk is very beautiful.
There are lots of food stands there and it’s like a summer festival!
You can also enjoy fireworks, a summer tradition from the bridge
and they have small gifts when you go there in yukata.
Sometimes fun events for children are held,
so it’s also good to go there with family!
